So exactly a week ago today we got a little invite to appear on The Unherd Radio Show on Colourful Radio the following Monday. Here’s a 90 minute segment featuring members of The Jazz Meet collective in conversation with host Dom Servini (Wah Wah 45s). Keyboard maestro Jessica Lauren debuts a few tracks from her forthcoming release on Freestyle Records while discussing the history of The Jazz Meet and touching on many of its previous incarnations as one of London’s pivotal jazz jams, and resident DJs Rob Coley and Jarred Rice dig in their record bags to pull out some of their favourite jazz finds. There’s plenty of insight, banter and great music to be had so sit back and enjoy this little taster, and hopefully learn a thing or two about us in the process.
You can tune into The Unherd Radio Show weekly Mondays at 9PM GMT via DAB in the London area, or via the Colourful Radio website at http://www.colourfulradio.com worldwide.
Thanks for listening and a big thank you to Mr Servini for the invite!
