After an enforced summer break due to computer issues, we return with a beautifully deep guest mix from Glasgow’s own Rebecca Vasmant. She starts things off with a little Dylan Thomas before a pair of awesome compositions from P.E. Hewitt Jazz Ensemble ease us in nicely to the sounds ahead. Up next we have jazz piano brilliance from the great Stan Tracey and Bill Evans before the unmistakable vocals of Jose James and Nina Simone rear their head. Further music comes from the Brazilian mastermind that is Arthur Verocai, London’s own Scrimshire and a Jazzman double bill from Azanyah and Lloyd Miller & The Hellocentrics, before Eddie Harris gives us ‘The Things You Do’ and Jukka Eskola Quintet and the Bobby Timmons Trio (twice) bring things to a close.
