Yes, to coincide with this weekend’s Brussels Jazz Marathon and The Jazz Meet’s maiden voyage abroad, our friend Lander Lenaerts AKA The Jazz Kid has put together this excellent mix of Belgian jazz flavours for your listening enjoyment. There’s plenty of favourites deep in the mix including Open Sky Unit’s uplifting track of the same name, a killer version of ‘Vera Cruz’ by Steve Bouben and Rene Costy’s famously sampled composition ‘Scrabble’ to name but a few. This Sunday We welcome Belgian DJ Lander Lenaerts back to Jazz Meet DJ box for what promises to be another essential date in our ongoing event diary. Of course, we are no stranger to the man himself, with Lander having guested at only our second party at Floripa just under a year ago and of course, he’s also completed two mind-blowing mixes for us in our continuing mixtape series under his old DJ moniker Blast Kid.
