It’s a Bank Holiday jazz special at The Jazz Meet this week as British vocalist André Espeut returns to Floripa to present an evening of scintillating soul jazz and old school grooves. Backed by a stellar band of some of London’s finest session musicians including Mark Vandergucht (guitar), Hamish Balfour (piano) and Jon Desbruslais (drums), you can expect two hours of expert musicianship and most importantly rhythms to make you dance! On hand to pick up the dancefloor between the live sets are Jazz Meet residents Nik Weston and Rob Coley, who will be delving deep into their record boxes to bring you an assortment of musical flavours across the jazz, Latin and soul spectrums. With Monday off, we’ll be partying into the early hours, so come and join us for cocktails, a Brazilian roast and a divine end to your musical week. First live set 7.30pm. Free Entry.
