A little extra treat this week, as we drop mix #52 a few days early and in the process take a little trip to The Americas courtesy of Mr Analog Jones of Twin Cities and Boglewaltz. Analog (or Gareth to his Mum) will be joining Nik behind the decks at The Jazz Meet this coming Sunday, and as a precursor to the event, he dropped us this fiery 50 minute selection. We love a bit of tropical heat here at Jazz Meet HQ and it’s perfect ear fodder for a Friday, so feel free to dig in and sample the delights of some strictly Latin dancefloor action. Inside we’ve got some Edwin Bonilla, Jimmy Saa, Michi Sarmiento, Edwin Clemente and even some Gloria Estefan on the funky ‘Heat’, while bands La Organizacion, La Excelencia and La 33 provide the serious Salsa rhythms. We hope you enjoy this sample mix and look out for Twin Cities’ debut album ‘Brand New World’, out April 3rd. Thanks for listening!
